ARE YOU 18 AND WITHOUT YOUR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA?

You are definitely not alone.  If earning your high school diploma is a goal you would like to achieve, the staff at the QUEST Centre will be happy to guide you through the process.   We offer credit correspondence courses provided to us through the Thames Valley District School Board.
Correspondence allows you to learn at your own pace while in the comfort of your own home or wherever it is you prefer to study.  The only travelling to be done is dropping off your completed lessons and picking up your next set of lessons.

    As simple as 1, 2, 3…

1. Bring your school transcript, which you will find at the high school you last attended, and any other school certificates you may have to the QUEST Centre.

2. Fill out an ILC Pre-Registration Form.  We will fax all relevant information to the Adult Learning Centre in St. Thomas.   Once your assessment has been faxed back we will call you.

3. Come in to register and pick up your first set of lessons.  The fee for your first course is $50.00 ($40.00 will be refunded to you once you have completed your requirements). You will be charged $10.00 for each subsequent course and a $100.00 cash deposit may be needed if you require a textbook.

Not enough time?   Too many credits needed?  At the QUEST Centre we also have information on how to attain your GED: General Educational Development, which is a testing program for adult high school equivalency.

Whether you need a diploma to qualify for employment, to prepare for college courses or simply for peace of mind, there is a sense of pride and achievement gained from completing a personal goal.  Yes it is a big commitment, takes a lot of dedication and willpower, but it can be done and has been done.

If you went to school in the Thames Valley area, but have been out of school 5 or more years, you’ll need to contact Wheable (519-452-2660) to obtain your transcript.
